  • Poppies2 - 3 Years

The term after your child turns 2 years old, they will move into our Poppies Room. Our Poppies room offers many activities daily including a quiet area, sensory area and a messy play area that keeps the children happy and stimulated throughout the day.

Our staff in Poppies will encourage and support the children’s independent individual learning styles through play as well as introducing with the support of each parent potty training. We have easily accessible toilets within the Poppies room to support and encourage children through their potty training stages.

All activities are constantly being tailored to each child’s development using the EYFS.

Our Poppies room will encourage your child’s development, which is monitored and reported to all parents daily using EYFS pathway profile and a copy of this will be transferred from room to room.

We use the local park/green situated next door to our nursery for our physical development and outdoor experiences. We have a range of outdoor equipment that will help children to develop all the skills they need for example: – a mini beast box where children can explore with magnifying glasses and capture bugs and insects.
